We Edward Morgan of Bridestown Esq and the Reverend Edward Gustavus Hudson of Glenville, Commifsioners duly appointed and sworn under and by virtue of an act made in the fourth year of the reign of King George the Fourth, entitled an act to provide for the establishing of compositions for tithes in Ireland for a limited time "to ascertain and fix" a true and just composition for all tithes arising, growing, yielded or payable within the parish of Ardnageehy in the County of Cork - do hereby certify that the true and just amount of composition, for all tithes whatever within the said parish is four hundred and thirty eight pounds, nine shillings and three pence British currency by the year due and payable to the Reverend Richard Dean Freeman as Rector of the said parish.
We further certify that the said composition is to be unvariable for the term of twenty one years from the first day of November last and that the annexed assessment and applotment signed by us and calculated at the rate of one shilling and nine pence and one fiftieth of a penny per pound sterling of the annexed valuation of all lands liable to tithe within the said parish, is just and fair to the best of our skill and judgment.
As witness our hand this twenty seventh day of June in the year one thousand eight hundred and twenty six.

Page 20
Having within the last few days recovered the applotment book and certificate intended for the descendants of this parish, I find that there is a statement of rent charge made at page 4[?], I suppose by the late Revd E.G. Hudson Dean of Armagh and formerly curate of Ardnageehy
but have no authority to say who made the calculation therein.
In it Mr Hydes charge is given at £54.10.3 and 1/2 con_ com_ Nial Nagle & Newman at £1 17 to these two items and I should think are now united and mat_ W Hughes present rent charge £56 7 7.
Viscount Middleton has no property in this parish now his rent charges are give ant |36.5.3 and corresponds with that parish now by his Reps Re____ of John Comis__ Esq. Henry M Smith Esq has now no property within the parish it is put down as £58 14 4 and is as I suppose now paid by Mr Anderson £32 10 5, Revd Wm Delcacour £ 23 10 5, __ Mrs Loyd __ 2 17 8, making in all £ 58 18 6.
Now I find in Folio 15 of applotment book; plough land Bishop's [Island?] this observation with regard to a sum of 6/8 payable on 4 acres 3 [rods?] of land by Mulcahy & Connell. "This land having been afterwards ascertained to be not in the parish of Ardnageehy, when the _____ could not be rectified reduces the composition to £ 438 2 7 and rent charge"[?] £328 12 0" now it would appear that afterwards in the actual coll_ of rent charge this reduction was never made for 6/8 composition being 5/rent charge if taken from £328 17 0 now paid with exactly under £328 12 0 I do not know on whom authority this observation is made it is put in the Cork registry book. I believe this deduction must have been taken from the rent charge then payable by Henry M. Smith and if added it will make __ rent charge £58 19.4 closely corresponding with rent paid Reps Anderson Delacour & Mr. Loyd £58.18.6.
