History and Description

A Topographical Dictionary of Ireland (Lewis, 1837)

Leppers Hill, as described in the Lewis Topographical Dictionary, is the modern day Leopardshill. This location was probably considered part of Cnocán na lobhar (Knockaunalour) 'hillock of the lepers.'

There was a Roche Estate in Killuntin.
