The original research on the site formerly known as corkancestors.com was done largely by Jean Prendergast. Prior to that she kept her work at http://homepage.eircom.net/~ridgway. In the spring of 2011, with Jean's permission, I started restoring her web pages out of the Internet archives.

In August 2012 I discovered another stash of files in the Internet archives and restored those.

In the summer of 2020, I discovered about 40 more pages either stashed in the archives or sitting in long-forgotten folders on my computer. The search for more old Cork Ancestors content is part of a bigger process to remodel CORK GEN. The recently restored Cork Ancestors pages are only on the remodeled CORK GEN. - Skibb Girl
