PART ONE This guide book can be dated to about 1870 by the following lines from:- 'Of late years it has been occasionally disturbed by the outbreaks of Fenian sympathizers, and the escapades of its late Mayor, Mr. O Sullivan, nearly led to the direct interference of Parliament with its municipal privileges.' Daniel O Sullivan was Mayor of Cork in 1869. |
