(Hibernian Chronicle 21/2/1791) -[Advertisement] -WANTED, A Large Ship sufficient to contain 170 Convicts to be well victualled and manned, and properly fitted up for their Reception immediately, and to be continued until the arrival of the Queen Transport - Enquire of the MAYOR, at the Mansion-House.
(Hibernian Chronicle 7/3/1791) -[Editorial] -CORK –Last week the following Convicts arrived in this city to be transported to Botany Bay in the next fleet that sails from England. They were safely lodged in the Provost lately built in the new Barrack.

Longford; Peter King, co. of Wexford; Michael Murphy, Sarah Brazil, and Arthur Connelly, co. and city of Waterford; Eyre Jackson and Frances Lawler, co. and town of Gallway; John Whelan, Dan. Keeffe, John Molloy alias Haynes, King’s County; Felix Owens, Edwd. Kelly, and Pat. Shane, co. Meath; James Higgins, John Montgomery, and Alexander Jennings from co. Westmeath.
(Hibernian Chronicle 4/2/1793) -[Editorial] -CORK – Saturday the unfortunate Mr. Massey, who was some time since convicted of a forgery on the Bank of Ireland; and _____ Boyce, convicted also of forgery, arrived here where they are to be embarked for Botany Bay.
(Hibernian Chronicle 21/11/1796)-[Editorial] ->CORK –This morning 43 convicts were shipped to be embarked on board the transport at Cove for Botany Bay

†Humphrey Moore, alias Mendoza, & Edward & James Smith -( 26/6/1794) - Tuesday evening Humphry Moore, alias Mendoza, James Smith and Edward Smith, were apprehended at Ratormack by Mr. Sharp, Pea Officer, charged with a highway robbery committed on John Hutchinson of Bandon, and taking forcibly 31 guineas and 4s from him. This gang has been a very dangerous one, and took in an honest man near Glanmire by swindling. Much praise is due to Mr. Sharp for his vigilance in apprehending such a dangerous knot of villains. - Committed to the Co. Gaol,…by Peter Morgan, Esq; Humphry Moore, alias Mendoza, Edward Smith and James Smith, charged with feloniously robbing John Hutchinson of Bandon of 31 guineas in [good/gold?] and four shillings, on the high road from Bandon to Cork, on Sunday the 2[0?]h of May last.
(16/10/1794) - CORK - Last Saturday, the following Persons received sentence in the Country Court, viz..Humphrey Moore, alias Mendoza, Edward Smith, and James Smith, for robbing John Hutchinson, on the Highway of thirty one Guineas, to be hanged on Saturday the 25th instant.
( 27/10/1794) - Last week, the younger of the two Smiths, brothers, condemned at the late assizes, to be hanged for robbery, received a reprieve, and last Saturday morning the elder brother and his accomplice Moore, alias Mendoza, previous to their being taken out for execution, received a respite till next Saturday.
( 3/11/1794) - Humphrey Moore alias Mendoza, and Edward Smith, who were to have been Executed last Saturday, received a further Respite to Saturday the 8h of November.
