The deceased was bron in Cappaleigh, seven miles from Berehaven, County of Cork, Ireland. Father's name, Cornelius Sullivan; mother's name, Johanna Harrington, of Glengarriffe, County Cork. John Sullivan left Ireland in 1847. His fater died in 1848, and his mother five years later. About the year 1858 John paid the passage money for Mary and Jeremiah. Swanton

We should be glad to get some information about the family and relatives of George Swanton and his wife, Anne Harris O'Neill who resided in East Schull in 1863, when a son George, who subsequently joined the British navy, was born. There were three other children - Richard, who was drowned in an excursion trip in the vicinity of his home; James, who went to Australia, and Ann, who married an O'Neill. Ann and her husband went to Australia, leaving at home a son who followed them in 1883. George Swanton of the Navy married Ellen Galvin at the Catholic Church, Cove, in 1886. Anyone giving information which may lead to the discovery of the heirs or next-of-kin of Robert John Wrixon, whose wife's maiden names was Margaret Manning, will be rewarded.
