We Florence McCarthy and James McCarthy Commissioners duly appointed and sworn under and by virtue of an Act made in the fourth year of the reign of King George the Fourth, entitled An Act to provide for the establishment of composition for tithes in Ireland for a limited time to ascertain and fix a true and just composition for all tithes arising, growing, yielded and payable with the parish of Kilmoe in the county of Cork, do hereby certify that the true and just amount of composition for all tithes whatever within the said parish is five hundred pounds by the year which sum of five hundred pounds are due and payable to the Revd Francis Langford as a composition for all tithes claimable by him as rector of the said parish.
And we do further certify that the average price of wheat being the corn principally grown in the county for the period of seven years ending on the 25th day of December 1826 is per barrel one pound five shillings. Dated this 27th day of October 1827 & seven.
We hereby certify that the (within) and forgoing sheets contains our survey and valuation of the parish of Kilmoe, County and Diocese of Cork, as coming from said parish, under the Tithe Composition Act - given under our hands this 4th day of December 1828 & twenty eight.
