I Lance Lawder commissioner duly appointed and sworn under and by virture of the act
of Parliament made and now in for for establishing compositions for tithes in Ireland, to ascertain
and fix a true and just composition for all tithes arising growing yielded or payable within the Parish
of Kilgarriffe in the Diocese of Ross and County of Cork, do hereby certify that the true
and just amount of composition for all tithes whatever within the said Parish, is four hundred
and thirty pounds by the year, of which sum of four hundred and thirty pounds one half
part is due and payable to the Reverend Chambre Corker Townsend as a composition for the
tithe claimable by him as vicar of said Parish - and one fourth part is due and
payable to Michael Roberts Esquire as one of the lay improprietors of said Parish
and one other fourth part thereof is due and payable to Thomas Wade Foott Esquire as
the other lay improprietor of said Parish. And I do further certify that the
average price of wheat being the corn principally grown in such county, for the price of seven
years ending on the first day of November one thousand eight hundred and thirty, in thirty two
shilling and one half penny per barrel. Dated this 28th day of August one
thousand eight hundred and thirty three.

I Lance Lawder commissioner for the parish of Kilgarriff alias ___ Diocese of Ross and County of Cork
do hereby certify that the sum of four hundred and thirty pounds __ shillings and ___ pence sterling is
the just amount of composition for tithe, in said parish as duly ascertained and fixed
according to the provisions of the Act of 2d & 3d William 4th Chap 119, and I further certify that in
the applotting of said sum upon said parish; I have to the best of my ability acted faithfully and
impartially, and that I have not incurred any expenses which was not strictly necessary to the
proper discharge of my duty.
