I William Green Commissioner duly appointed and
sworn under and by virtue of an act passed to amend three acts passed
respectively in the fourth fifth and seventh [years] of the late Majesty King
George the fourth providing for the establishing of compositions for
tithes in Ireland; and to make such compositions permanent passed
in the second and third years of the reign of his present Majesty King
William the fourth, to ascertain and fix a true and just
composition for all tithes arising, proving, yielded or payable
within the prebend for parish of Donaghmore in the Diocese of Ross
and County of Cork; do hereby certify ____ the true and just amount
of composition for all tithes whatever within the said prebend for
parish if forty two pounds by the year - the whole of which seven
is due and payable to the Reverend James E. Burton as a composition
for the tithe claimable? by ____ and prebendary of the said prebend
or parish - and I do further certify that the average price of
wheat being the corn principally grown in said county for the period of
seven years ending on the 31st of October 1930 is one pound 12 shillings
and one halfpenny per barrel.
